QuickPwn 2.1 for Windows is here to jailbreak iPhone firmware 2.1

The iPhone Dev Team has just released QuickPwn 2.1 for Windows. This version can jailbreak the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod touch v1 and can unlock the original iPhone.

Note: QuickPwn 2.1 does not support the unlock of iPhone 3G (Jailbreak only). Also, it will not work for the new version of iPod Touch.

“Supports 2.1 firmware with the unlocking and jailbreaking of iPhone 1st generation (2G) device. Supports the jailbreaking of iPod Touch 1st generation device and iPhone 3G. Does not support the unlocking of iPhone 3G or jailbreaking of second generation (n72ap based) iPod Touch.”

What should I do, after I have done everything above my iphone keeps saying diff SIM is detected?

Hi Alex…
it seems your iPhone is not unlocked nor jailbreak. make sure the Step 11 – Step 14 works properly. The most important instruction is in the step 12..timing is very important when you press power or home button..I suggest you to follow this guide and run through the procedures again.
OR
you just follow all instructions as my post above with your “new” Sim Card…
OR
exit your iTunes…restart your PC and do the procedures again..
OR
uninstall your iTunes and try to install it again..then unlock&jailbreak with your “new” SimCard

Hi JAcque..

yes..you can jailbreak both with sim card or without sim card…for your information i just left my simcard in my iPhone while unlock&jailbreak without any problem..

i ran the entire program but when i put the tmobile sim in the phone the emergence screen pops up and says diffrent sim detected…??? what do i do??

OR
if you would like decide to unlock and jailbreak again with QuickPwn 2.1 i suggest to you…begin with step 3 – step 6 in one PC…and do it step 7 – step 14 with another PC and for Step 15 do it with the same PC as at Step 3- step 6..
OR
you also can upgrade to 2.2 firmware with my instruction here..
